nGenius® Performance Management System

The nGenius® Performance Management System, a comprehensive hardware and software solution, simplifies the management of today’s complex enterprise networks, and provides visibility into the entire network, offering a view into not only what is happening, but why it is happening.  The software component, nGenius® Performance Manager combines real-time and historical information on a single platform for monitoring, troubleshooting, performing capacity planning and reporting on the application traffic flowing across the network.  The hardware component, nGenius® Probes, non-intrusively monitor traffic flows providing both real-time and historical information.

 

nGenius® Performance Manager

nGenius Performance Manager provides all the tools necessary in a single integrated application for managing the delivery of business services across the network more efficiently.  By gathering information from NetScout application-aware probes and other infrastructure devices, its three main components: Real-Time Troubleshooting, Capacity Planning and Voice over IP Monitoring provide a comprehensive view into the performance of the network and its applications.

• Seamlessly integrated real-time views and historical reports retain context regardless of the task - no need to move between multiple tools. Application level visibility allows IT decisions to be aligned with business needs.
• A breadth of information from high-level summaries to in-depth details provides tailored network views meeting individual needs.

nGenius® Probes

NetScout’s family of nGenius Probes are non-intrusive, high performance, real-time and historical monitoring devices.  They collect key performance metrics such as traffic and application utilization, conversations, error conditions, resource utilization, response time, as well as capture packet data for detailed decoding and analysis.  This rich information makes troubleshooting quicker and more effective as well as capacity planning decisions more accurate.
