AeA’s Betty Baker Nominated for Silicon Valley/San Jose
Business Journal’s “Who’s Who in Silicon Valley”

Santa Clara, CA (May 8, 2008) – Betty J. Baker, Executive Director of AeA’s Silicon Valley/Northern California Council, has been selected for the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal’s “Who's Who in Silicon Valley” list for 2008. Ms. Baker joins other leading Silicon Valley executives nominated for their leadership in education, government and nonprofit work in the banking, finance, healthcare, and technology industries.

“It is indeed an honor to be nominated and included on this exclusive list,” said Betty J. Baker. “The Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal continues to be a leader in covering the individuals, companies and organizations that have been integral in the valley’s evolution over the last two and a half decades. AeA is proud to be a part of that evolution and the continued success of Silicon Valley.”

Several high-tech leaders nominated are current AeA member companies including: Adobe Systems; Agilent Technologies; Altera; Apple; Cadence Design Systems; Intel; and National Semiconductor.

All nominees were featured in the “Who’s Who” special supplement in the April 25th issue of the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, and will be honored this evening at a private dinner in San Jose. Bruce Chizen, former Adobe CEO, will deliver the keynote address.
