The committees of the AeA New York Council are volunteer groups organized to develop and implement programs, policies, and activities that improve the competitiveness of New York high-technology firms and drive toward AeA's objectives and priorities.

Do you want to play a direct role in improving our state's high-technology industry? Enhance your professional knowledge and skills? Network and develop relationships with your industry peers? As an employee of an AeA member company you are eligible to serve on AeA New York Council committees. To join any of the committees, participate or recommend a topic for a future event, please email Justin Wright or call 518.437.8820.

Executive Committee:  The Executive committee guides the strategic overview and initiatives for the Arizona Council. It is responsible for providing direction for local council programs and the council's public policy activities.

Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Working Group: In response to member concerns, AeA has launched a grassroots initiative to modify Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and has recently released a white paper on the topic.  All 18 Councils of AeA's nationwide grassroots network have established working groups on this issue.  For more information or to join this committee please contact Justin Wright at 518.437.8820.

National Government Affairs Committees:  Get the most out of your membership by joining one of our many national government affairs committees -- participation is open to any AeA member company, and there is no limit to the number of employees per company who sign up.  Learn more about all of AeA's International, National and State Government Affairs Committees at www.aeanet.org/committees.
