The committees of the AeA Arizona Council are volunteer groups organized to develop and implement programs, policies, and activities that improve the competitiveness of Arizona high-technology firms and drive toward AeA's objectives and priorities.

Do you want to play a direct role in improving our state's high-technology industry? Enhance your professional knowledge and skills? Network and develop relationships with your industry peers? As an employee of an AeA member company you are eligible to serve on AeA Arizona Council committees. Executive Committee:  The Executive committee guides the strategic overview and initiatives for the Arizona Council. It is responsible for providing direction for local council programs and the council's public policy activities.

Robert J. Brilon
CEO, President, & CFO
InPlay Technologies

Bob Brilon is the chief executive officer, president and chief financial officer for InPlay Technologies, a licensor of proprietary, emerging technologies.

Bob has been on the Board of Directors since January 2001 and served as chairman until April 2005. He has been with the company since its inception 1997 as a consultant. Bob joined as the President/CFO in November 1998 to take the company public on the American Stock Exchange, and ultimately NASDAQ. Bob leads the management team in determining and executing on its direction and goals.

Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Working Group: In response to member concerns, AeA has launched a grassroots initiative to modify Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and has recently released a white paper on the topic.  All 18 Councils of AeA's nationwide grassroots network have established working groups on this issue. 

National Government Affairs Committees:  Get the most out of your membership by joining one of our many national government affairs committees -- participation is open to any AeA member company, and there is no limit to the number of employees per company who sign up.  Learn more about all of AeA's International, National and State Government Affairs Committees at www.aeanet.org/committees.
